Generally, Personal Assistance will enable a person to accomplish tasks that the person normally would do for himself or herself, if he or she did not have a disability.
Personal assistance tasks include, but are not limited to:
hands-on personal assistance, assistance with clothing changes, bathing, feeding, morning and evening routines, assistance in managing medical care and medication administration; and transportation to access community services, activities, and appointments.
Employees will be required to pass various background checks, a drug test, become CPR certified, complete yearly TB screenings, and submit other various documents to remain eligible as per Medicaid guidelines.
